Dean Mancini
President & CEO
Dean has been President and CEO of TDI since 2005. He brings over 25 years of business and technical experience to TDI Novus.
Dean began his career managing contracts and providing engineering expertise to Navy customers. He currently plays an active role in all corporate administrative and operational functions. His engineering background and leadership skills have transformed a company focused on technical documentation to a trusted provider of professional services, including engineering, cybersecurity, software development and research and development projects. Dean has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Widener University. He has previously worked in engineering capacities for Boeing Company and W. L. Gore Associates.

Nick is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and provides expertise in unmanned systems, autonomy, machine vision, and data analytics. Nick manages TDI Novus’s R&D portfolio and works with Government and commercial partners to determine innovative ways to solve their technical challenges. Throughout his career, he has served as Program Manager (PM) and Principal Investigator (PI) on several DARPA, ONR, and NSWCPD programs. Nick holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University. He has previously worked as a research scientist at Lockheed Martin with a focus on unmanned systems.
Brent Starr

Vice President, West Coast Operations
Brent Starr is our Vice President of West Coast Operations. He manages the Program Management and Business Development functions primarily focused on NAVWAR, NIWC PAC, and NIWC LANT. Brent’s extensive background includes 27 years of Federal Service working in systems engineering and program management positions at NIWC, NAVWAR, and PEO C4I. Additionally, he worked in Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) for eight years. Prior to joining TDI, Brent served as a Principal Acquisition Program Manager, where he led the Undersea Communications (manned and unmanned) Division and then later led the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) division. Brent also served as the Deputy Program Manager at PMW 770 where he provided leadership to the entire program office.
Susan Beal

Susan Beal
Vice President, Administration
Susan is the Vice President of Administration, bringing over 23 years of government contract and subcontract management experience. Susan is responsible for all contract management and administration, subcontract management, and contract compliance. Additionally, she oversees the IT department as well as the marketing and training programs. Susan is a longtime National Contract Management Association (NCMA) member and previously served as Vice President and Treasurer of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter. She is also a member of The Society of Industrial Security Professionals (NCMS) and Women in Defense. Susan joined TDI in 2019 to enhance the contracts department and has earned her Master's Certificate in Contract Management from Villanova University. She has previously worked in contract capacities for Sabre Systems and Olympus Building Services.
